This week I was asked by a friend if I was able to make cupcakes for a community dinner her church was hosting this week. I jumped at the opportunity because it made me feel like a contestant on "Cupcake Wars". I baked almost 100 chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. I heard back that they were a big success because not only did they tasted good, but they looked nice and festive for Easter. For some guests at this dinner, their meal was the high point in their holiday weekend and the cupcakes were the treat. I am so glad they were able to bring a bit of fun and joy into peoples lives.
